Yanapanaku is a word in the Quecha language that means “mutual support”. This program consist of an intense experience for personal development, training and intercultural living during diverse volunteering periods in Bolivia. We offer a 6-9 month-long program, as well as the possibility to coordinate solidarian trips from 1 week of length onwards. All programs are based on the main experiential learning cycle and count with our organizational support on logistics, methodology and personal issues.
Long Stay Program
Our 6-9 months program is a professional training and practice on experiential facilitation by itself. The program structure is based on competences achievement : theoretical, practical and actitudinal. Volunteers build these competences to facilitate personal leadership, intercultural and social integration workshops with diverse youth at their hosting community. Their trainings are carried out by professional educators and the volunteers count with a personal and methodological mentor throughout their experience. At completion, their certification as intercultural facilitators is validated by Anima Leadership based in Canada.
Solidarian Trips
These programs are designed and delivered at request and aim to motivate intercultural global solidarity through experiential education and social action. Volunteers are paired-up with hosting communities and activities are designed to meet their learning interests as well as the community needs. In both programs, cost for operations, training and accompaniment are covered by the volunteers themselves or by allied sponsors.
